He graduated from the Department of Photography at FAMU, completed an internship at the École Nationale Supérieure d’Arts à la Villa Arson in Nice and received a prestigious internship at the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice. His photographic work explores themes of beauty, admiration and heroism, as well as the limits of photography as a medium. He has curated solo and group exhibitions, as well as film shows. Since 2014, he has been running a private film club Cinema Ladislav_that focuses on arthouse cinematography. In 2018 he made his debut as a theatre director with an adaptation of Marguerite Duras’s diary texts. Since 2021 he has been working as a film script writer and editor. In art, he seeks sincerity and authenticity but also a distinct feeling for it’s rendition. In his students, he seeks curiosity above everything else. At FAMU he teaches the intercontextual course „Picture and its Context” and „Visual Theory”. He lives alternately in Prague and Venice.
