Studio of conservation and restoration photography

The bachelor’s degree programme is focused mainly on acquiring knowledge, practical experience and skills in the field of conservation of photographic materials. The curriculum is based on current standards and practices in the field of photographic conservation. 
Students will gain knowledge of the material nature of various photographic techniques, the chemical processes that are necessary to produce a photographic image, as well as the chemical processes that take place during the natural aging and degradation of photographic materials. They will then gain an overview of the possibilities of slowing down degradation processes, conservation and long-term storage of different photographic techniques.
