Jiří Černohorský received a degree in natural sciences from the University of Ostrava and a degree in photography from the Faculty of Architecture, Institute of History of Architecture and Monument’s Preservation of the Cracow University of Technology. Since 2013, he has been teaching Historical Photography Techniques at the Faculty of Multimedia Communication at Tomáš Baťa University in Zlín. He occupies himself with the conservation of photographic collections. He works with institutions such asthe Museum of the Těšín Region, City Museum Polná). As a photographer he focuses mainly on architecture. He has exhibited as such institutions as the Arthaus Gallery in Erftstadt, Germany and the A1 Gallery in Krakow, Poland.
