David Možný is a contemporary Czech visual artist. He represented the Czech Republic at the Prague Quadriennale 2023 with the installation Limbo Hardware, for which he won the Best Concept of the Exhibition of Countries and Regions and the Sustainable Exhibition Award. He was the first Czech artist represented at the onedotzero digital video festival at ICA London in 2004. For his video Virtual Soul Waste he won the first prize at the Bitfilm festival in Hamburg in 2004. In 2010 his video Rahova won the 1st prize of the audience and jury at the Olomouc Animation Film Festival. David Možný works with digitally generated images, he creates videos, animations, objects and installations.
