Kvet Nguyen (1995) graduated in 2021 from the Department of Photography and New Media at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava, where she is currently pursuing her PhD studies. She is a laureate of the Tatra Banka Foundation 2021 Award in the Young Artist category. She actively exhibits in Europe (Slovakia, Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, France, Serbia, the Netherlands) as well as on other continents (Canada, Vietnam). She not only deals with the topics of migration, diaspora and their identities in her art projects, but also tries to talk openly about these topics and open up discussion about them in ordinary conversations or other platforms. Her work Archive of Returns (2021) is in the collection of the Regional Gallery in Zlín.
