Nina Šperanda is a multifaceted creative, working across photography, cinematography, education, and culture & arts management. She holds an MA in Cinematography from the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Zagreb and an MA in Photography from the Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts (FAMU) in Prague.
Nina has been guiding students at the Studio of Imaginative Photography at FAMU since 2017 (with a hiatus from 2022 to 2024), working as a teaching assistant and briefly as the Head of the Studio. In addition to her academic work, Nina is an Arts Project Manager at TBA21 Thyssen-Bornemisza Art Contemporary, where she leads and supports the production of contemporary art and film productions, EU projects, seminars, and events.
Nina’s art practice encompasses photography and video. She is the recipient of the 2013 Prague Photo Young Award and winner of the County Museum of Rovinj Grisia Award. Her work has been exhibited in Germany, Czech Republic, Croatia, Slovakia, Macedonia, and Bosnia.
